Stop. Take a deep breath. Sit down and draw the road to recovery and sustainability during these challenging times. This will pass. My Dad always told me that, in life, you are going to run into some unexpected holes in the road. You will fall. You will get yourself up, brush off the dirt, stand straight, put your head up with an attitude, and go fight. YOU WILL SUCCEED.

Always be truthful to your clients and customers. Let them know what you are doing during this crisis to protect your staff and them. Create special opportunities or offers for them - whether delivery, discounts for orders placed now for work to be done upon lifting of the current restrictions, or assist them in accessing the outside world. Be creative and specific as to your own industry. We are all in this together.

During this crisis with the Covid 19, it's important that business keep in contact with thier customers. Regular emails or texts to them with up-dates can help.

Take your business online, if you have not already. Ecommerce and social media can do wonders for B2C businesses at this time and in the future. Consumers are home, looking for content. Create videos sharing transparent, behind-the-scenes perspectives on what you're doing to keep the business alive and how they can help your business too. I own and run a brand design and consulting firm. If anyone would like some quick feedback on marketing ideas specific to your type of business at no charge, feel free to email me at [email address]. Hang on, business owners! We'll get through it!

Definitely taking the business online. Start slow, Add your best sellers in first...depending on what you sell you can set up a Shopify website or take delivery orders online. Even after this is over, it makes so much sense to give your customers that option as sometimes they want is order something after hours.

Each business has it's own format depending on the product or service, but I would suggest to start with

1- Renegotiate rent terms.
2- Renegotiate with vendors.
3- Renegotiate with employees (short term adjustment to keep it's jobs)
3- If available use a database to communicate with clients.
4- Try to offer pick up and private delivery service, probably using current employees and it's vehicles with specific hygiene to make the deliveries.

Try to reach or get closer to a breakeven point based on the current situation.

I think that business s/b as usual.  Our Financial Services had not changed. Our necessities still the same. We have to be prepare for these eventualities.Lets get ready every day to give our clients and customer the Best possible service and information that we can; only this way can we succeed in this situation. Business is great.. Need help let us know.

We are concerned about the health of our community but especially our new mothers and their infants.New mothers are worried about the quality of baby products. We are operating in a small clean environment so that we can guarantee the safety of our baby gifts. Our baby blankets and towels can still be personalized and shipped. We take extra care to make sure everything in our workshop is pristine and ship and wrap personally so that we have control . Because we are on line at www.namelynewborns.com we provide these baby essentials. We stocked our shelves before the virus escalated and all of our baby items are securely wrapped in plastic.

Tell the truth be optimistic inspire and give hope to everyone

As a small business, it breaks our hearts when we see companies being forced to close their doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve been thinking how we can help those business, while keeping our team busy so we can also thrive together.

Since 2017 we have pivot into a new agency model, focused in e-commerce and advertising. So we decided to create service packages that include e-commerce development (using our partner BigCommerce) and digital advertising, at an affordable cost, to help retail stores that had to close doors, so they can start selling their products online for the first time. The idea is to reduce as much as possible the disruption caused by the Coronavirus crisis, while serving as a first step for those retailers to join the e-commerce world, and keep their loyal customers served during these hard times.

If you are a retailer in this situation, click the link https://lnkd.in/egTSXJM and sign up to receive more information about the 3 packages. If you know of a retailer that would benefit from this offering, please share the link with them.

In times like these we need to stick together and help each other. I hope you guys stay safe, and your business keep thriving.

PS: I have great news: thanks to our partnership, our friends at BigCommerce have offered the first 3 months free of their fee for brick & mortar retail stores that want to leverage Samba Rock 's program to help with the trouble caused by Coronavirus. Click the link below if you are interested in turning your retail business digital, and please share the link so we can help as many small business as possible!
