I don't use accounting software anymore. I have my own system. I was on Quickbooks but my accountant says it is flawed and there are better software out there. Now I just photograph my receipts and send to him & it goes directly into his program.

I use this software because my clients are in all states and countries or continents so I have to have not only security for there personal and financial information but software that we can both see and discuss together regardless of the location. In most cases smaller entities utilize QuickBooks. Because it is affordable and ultra user friendly. I prefer a more sophisticated software such as Thomson Reuter CS suite of accounting sofware.

However, QBO is great for basic bookkeeping needs like tracking AP and expenses, invoicing and AR, bank reconciliations, and tracking sales tax. I personally do not like QB's online. Can't see a lot in the background that you can see on the desktop version.
