Lorraine Mock is a native San Franciscan who has been doing art all her life. She enjoys drawing and painting (acrylic or Chinese brush painting) along with crafting such as knitting, crochet, embroidery, origami and clay. She prefers to draw flora and fauna than to drawing figures. She recently started to enjoy coloring books to pass the time and decided to create them herself for others to enjoy. Lorraine prefers to create her images the old fashion way, by hand drawing them. And then only uses the computer to clean up the images and then digitalize them for publishing. Her style is to incorporate the rules of Chinese brush painting where the source of light is not emphasized and the negative space is just as important in order to create a sense of harmonious rhythm and movement so that the spectator's eye never focuses on one area but experiences a visual journey.

I have always enjoyed doing coloring books and realized that I could create them myself and in a style that would be more attractive to adults.
