Melissa is the Resident Costume Designer, Costume Shop Manager, and Rentals Manager at Nashville Repertory Theatre. She also runs a small alterations business in Franklin, TN.

Melissa’s career spans well over 200 productions from the Southeast to the West Coast in film, theatre, and television. Additionally, she has served nearly 400 private clients. Melissa enjoys costume design and custom sewing work. 

Recent credits include A Christmas Carol, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (Rep), Legally Blonde, Hello Dolly, Beauty & the Beast, Into the Woods, 42nd Street, Urinetown  (Belmont), Ride the Cyclone (Street Theatre Company), as well as scenes from Seasons 1-4 of Reconnecting Roots on PBS and scenes from The Legends of Lake Hollow with Penumbra Entertainment. Melissa holds an MFA in Theatrical Costume, Wig, and Makeup Design from California State University Fullerton and a BS in Speech & Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University.

Melissa loves the creative process, staying busy, participating in mission work, and traveling with her husband and family.
