There's a lot of ways to answer that. First, I'd want to know what other businesses you're marketing it toward and/or have embraced the app. I sell analog games (board games, role playing, etc), meaning I like to make sure I associate the store with positive family friendly experiences. I'm...

First, I'd want to know what other businesses you're marketing it toward and/or have embraced the app. I sell analog games (board games, role playing, etc), meaning I like to make sure I associate the store with positive family friendly experiences. I'm also not a huge fan of our local Chambers of Commerce, so I'd never find the app through that or become a part of it through that particular business. So the answer is: Yes, I'd consider it, but free doesn't always mean relevant or good for my business.
We currently don't. A recent Planet Money episode highlighted a survey they did with only 3 percent of American respondents saying they'd used Bitcoin in the last year. And some of that was false data (someone replied they'd used it at a company that does not accept Bitcoin, for example). Add in...

We currently don't. A recent Planet Money episode highlighted a survey they did with only 3 percent of American respondents saying they'd used Bitcoin in the last year. And some of that was false data (someone replied they'd used it at a company that does not accept Bitcoin, for example). Add in the extreme market fluctuations and the nefarious uses of cryptocurrency (Bitcoin is a popular method of payment required by computer and data hostage takers) and no regulation prohibiting that and I've chosen to not accept it. I have used it, though.
Listen to what they want, then send them home with the best product, not the most expensive. Happy customers come back.
