It all started with my tennis partner who worked for The Tampa Tribune. At the end of high school, I signed a scholarship to the local community college. He set up a photo shoot with the 4 new signees from Tampa. My friend and the photographer showed up and we proceeded to pose for the photo. A few days later, the photo and byline ran in the Sunday paper with a color photo above the fold. My motto has been: "It's not what you know, it's who you know!" Be good to others and it is returned 10 fold.
