How We Got Started

I became a professional Landman as fully trained by my Grandfather Frank J. Hinojosa in Hidalgo County, Texas in 1977. He had retired from Sun Oil Company and began his own consultancy that same year.

I continued to work in the energy field as a Landman engaged in both lease and title work until 1982. Beginning in 1985 my title profession expanded to the commercial and developer service sector of the California title insurance industry (Transamerica, North American and Old Republic title companies).

Upon an opportunity to pursue a professional photographic project with the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, I moved to Nevada in 2011 and pursued a separate professional photography career until 2017 when I began this consultancy with a single client.

Since then I have been able to provide services to both local and national clients, primarily by referrals.
