Congratulations
this is a wonderful opportunity to for you, instead of looking at this as a one-way street, you giving to the nonprofit or for the cause.
let's look at this like a real entrepreneur or should I say socialpreneur!!!!
Most people think they need to wait until they have the time or money to 'give' through their business. Have you ever felt this way? I used to believe that too until I discovered the opposite is true:
Incorporating charitable giving and impact strategies into your business can be an enjoyable, satisfying and effective way to turn your business into a profitable force for good–when done well.
86% of US consumers expect businesses to do more than make a profit
57% of UK consumers say companies should be actively involved in solving social or environmental problems
Research consistently shows that consumers, employees, and investors prefer businesses that care about more than simply making money. They expect you to be taking a stand for what's important to you and to be doing good through your business. If you're not, you will be losing business to your competition.
I highly suggest you really get on board with this excellent way of promoting your business using those very people that knock on your door asking for money.
I see small business uses so effective that's all they do is cause marketing.
I said it wasting your time buy me explaining here is a couple of YouTube videos that do an excellent job
