I have officially closed my store on January 18,2025.

The remaining inventory is now being prepared for auction. The auction will start on January 31st 2025 (check AucttionMasters.com for further information and bidding. Everything remaining will be sold at this auction.
I wish to thank everyone for being a part of our business since 1989!
Once the auction is finished on February 10th I will be officially retired!

How We Got Started

Our Business Started as a Hobby in 1958 and Grew into What we Have Today a Locally Owned Sports Cards and Sports Collectible Store (over 4000sq ft) that is Kid to Grandparent Friendly, Where You can Brag about your Collection, Your Sports Cave, Relax, Watch Sports on our Large TV's and Shop for New, Vintage Cards and Collectibles. But Most Importantly Take a Walk Down Memory Lane. We now have a Gallery full of pictures and one of a kinds. Also, Provide Custom Framing for All of Your Collectibles.
Papa Hawk Sports Continues to Purchase Large Collections Thoughtout the Midwest to Keep Our Store Fresh and New.

Tiffiney,  Hello! "Cost"  As a small business a lot of marketing companies are high end for the larger businesses. But if you starting out you can't afford spending hundreds of dollars a month on the "maybe its going to work".  You have to be cautious and check out to insure what your spending... But if you starting out you can't afford spending hundreds of dollars a month on the "maybe its going to work".  You have to be cautious and check out to insure what your spending will benefit your business and not only the company that wants you to do your marketing with them.  This is the hardest item that you will face other than employees!  Remember do not sign long term contracts and have them prove to you that there marketing works, ask for references and talk to those people (I mean really pick up the phone or ask them to come for coffee, pick there brain), if they won't give you a list, WALK AWAY! Marketing companies are a dime a dozen. Not all are bad and some are really good , but you need to weed through them, ask your neighbors who they use. Contact me if you have more questions. Mark

Clean is important in all aspects, dress the part, look the part be the part your office or store should be the same. Welcome your customers into the store make them feel at home.
