First of all, we are very lucky to have a large percentage of our business considered essential. That being said, we really feel for the small businesses that are struggling because they are running at minimum capacity or not at all. We have been ordering take-out lunches from them daily and several dinners weekly. As for the small businesses that were shut down first (nail & hair salons, massage studios/spas), we are running a Shop Local promotion where we match gift cards bought for those places up to $50.00. It has been very successful so far! We have also been donating money to Kids Food Basket, animal shelters & the humane society, Hand 2 Hand and Hope Unexpected to name a few. These are not all in my network but they all need help right now. Non profits are struggling terribly as they rely on donations to continue helping people and animals. We have also been making masks and donating them to nursing homes and others in the medical field. Everyone is very thankful for the help they have been given and our employees love that we are giving back!

We started using one a few years ago and it is really nice to have a reference for your employees. It cuts down on the repeat questions and gives them guidelines. Also, with Michigan legalizing marijauna, we were able to add a section to our manual stating our zero tolerance policy regarding...

Also, with Michigan legalizing marijauna, we were able to add a section to our manual stating our zero tolerance policy regarding it. It helps you avoid any gray area if you have everything spelled out in black and white.
Sales, although it is difficult to find a good fit for most positions. For example, we went through 3 dispatchers before we found one capable of doing the job with strong a work ethic.

In our line of work (HVAC), that isn't easy to do. We require a 50% down payment before we start installation work with any new customers. If they are financing the work, we get the approval first.
