We are a registered Canadian charity, non-profit organization in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Our mission is to promote public safety and reduce the incidence of injury in Grande Prairie and area through the maintenance and operation of Safety City and other programs designed to educate the public about safety and injury prevention.
We offer a variety of educational programs to schools and our local area.
School Programs include: Street Smarts pedestrian safety, Smoke and Sirens, Barnyards and Boots farm safety, Machines, Mammals and Mud, New and Young Driver Road Ready Program.
Public Programs include: Home Alone Safety program, Bicycle Safety, Child Passenger Safety Car Seat Clinics, Gift of Safety program, BrainSavers Helmet Program, Group bookings for Safety lessons, Child Passenger Safety Technician training.
Other events and campaigns: National Day of Mourning Memorial Garden and events, Canadian Injury Prevention Day events, Safety City Summer Safety Days, Bicycle Safety event, Traffic Safety Day, Safety City Halloween.
