A VOICE CRYING IN THE FOREST

I moved from the city to the country to be able to walk in the woods to relieve my stress. Today when I walked on the road in the forest to view the area where the loggers had bared the land I was sad. I heard the screeching of hawks but since it went on and on, something was really upsetting them. I thought it was that the trees were gone where they would usually hide. I thought their hunting grounds had been disturbed. I thought they were stalking me in hopes that I would scare up a mouse or a chipmunk.

Then I noticed a sign on a tree in the forest before the clearing. It said, “Do not enter because herbicide have been sprayed.” I realized that this was the next forest area to be cut. Perhaps the baby hawks in the nest will be infertile or perhaps the shells of their eggs will be so thin, they will not survive at all.

I left the forest because even though they had posted signs and I had not gone in that area, I know herbicides are harmful. The local doctor in the town nearby tried to say that you could coat herbicides on your tongue and there would be no effect. This is wrong because it kills the microbiome in the gut. Herbicides used in the forest, on the farm, in the yards, and in the parks are killing our microbiomes that protect us. This results in a slow agonizing death of gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, autoimmune disease, and chronic pain.

The problem with agricultural states is that the politicians work for the companies that genetically engineer the crops (corn, potatoes, alfalfa, apples, etc.) and promote the heavy use of herbicides. The farmers are so embedded with these agricultural companies that they are afraid to stop using the chemicals. In the meantime, the farmers are dying and not connecting the dots. Their children have autism, their parents have Alzheimer's and they themselves have Crohn’s, diverticulitis and their stomachs are bloated.

The whistle-blowers are discredited, run out of town, or murdered.

The same Arkicides are true for those who advocate against vaccinations, those who promote alternative cancer therapies, those who resist fluoride, and those who know the dangers of overusing antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals. What all of these aforementioned have in common is the assault on the microbiome. Those essential bacteria in our gut that protect our immune system. Can we all get on the same page for a Microbiome Revolution before it's too late? Time is running out.

In 1960, Autism was one in 10,000, in 1990 it was one in a 1000, in 2010 it was one in a 100, today it's one in 30, very soon it will be one in 10. Will you do something when it's your grandchild, when it's your child? Hopefully, perhaps, because you can't do something when it's you!
