I have 20 years of experience caring for my late husband on dialysis and 12 years of experience as a Dialysis Technician. I am using my life story to support Caregivers and share the importance of self-care while caring for others. My mental picture is that it is not the person in the wheelchair but the person pushing the wheelchair who is the "Unsung Hero." This is the target individual.

Encouraging the Caregiver was inspired by my twenty years of caregiving for my late husband, Ben, and my late Elderly Mother. I also worked twelve years as a dialysis technician and constantly relived the lives of my Dialysis Clients' family members who are Caregivers. I understand the struggles, concerns, and daily life of a Caregiver as they try to keep a "balanced stool of life" Spiritually, Physically, Mentally, and Financially. I desire to help bring relief and comfort to the Caregivers so they can give their loved ones the best care.
