Walter de Groot has been in the art business for over 50 yrs and started as an apprentice to his father who was an internationally recognized master artist. Walter is a formally trained sculptor who works in all media and has focused mainly on architectural ornamentation on high end and historical projects. He also has original works in private and public collections including a permanent exhibition in a museum in France. Back in the late seventies and eighties he owned 4 galleries in eastern atlantic tourist destinations and decided to give it a try here on the beautiful North Fork.
