Bancroft Ridge is following the Ontario guidelines for non-essential businesses and are currently closed. We, along with many other golf courses in the Province are planning to open on May 14, after the current restrictions expire on May 13. Our industry has developed social distancing best practices, implemented measures that will mitigate and minimize contact points and will adjust how we operate. Golf is one of those activities that can adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain open. Golf also provides health, social and mental health benefits for the participants. Ultimately, we will conform to any Ontario guidelines, but are hopeful for a May 14 open!
I am hopeful that if we all practise safe, social distancing that many of our other businesses will be open soon. I don't know about you but I sure need a haircut!
Stay safe,
Danny
