I own Texas Brew Radio - Texas State Songwriters Championship- which are part of the Texas State Songwriters Association non-profit organization I am the Director of.
We believe that without music our highways would be bumper car lanes - we believe music and comedy have the power to heal - and stories also help others heal - we need to hear more than the top 40 songs!
We support independent songwriters- believe they have the voice and the platform to be the positive change the world needs if we give them back the power- they are nickled and dimed on every path and its not setup for them to profit - most got their music start in church! We believe music is the battle ground for good vs evil. and we aim to change the top 12 song topics to something less toxic or depressing - its a real life Robin Williams story - they keep us divided - and keep the one thing that brings us together watered down- its so hard for our artists to get their stories heard -
