Once the request is at one million dollars two supervisors must agree on the initial loan officer recommendation of the million and final agreement by the Associate Administrator in headquarters at Washington, DC. which can take months.

The agency, completely independent of the U.S. Small Business Administration provides free manuals, forms and guidance to those business owners seeking less than one million dollars in federal disaster assistance. If the assistance being sought exceeds one million dollars the agency will represent the applicant as a fee paid representative, if so desired. All applications, above or below one million dollars, can be filed for free by the owners or companies themselves and fees are never a requirement to obtain assistance.
