I would also like to hear from Realtors who used to do open houses and no longer find them benefical to tell us why? What have you replaced them with?

I can still see benefits to open houses today. They provide the opportunity to have a loan originator on site to pre-quallfy a potential buyer before they leave the home. They are also available to answer any questions a potential buyer may have regarding financing. This may assist them with making up their minds more quickly.

What advantages do you see?

I know I am old school but when did the professional world get to be dog eat dog. What am I talking about. Professional courtesy would not allow me to actively and continually (to the point the client complains) go after a client after they told me they are already working with someone else. This is the second time this individual has done this to one of my clients. Has anyone else had this issue?
