What are your favorite ways to unwind and connect locally?

I recently heard about various events and gatherings around Monterey that seem like a great way to meet people and relax. One such event is an afternoon tea inspired by British traditions, featuring scones and petite sandwiches. It's set in a beautiful garden which could be an ideal place for things like book club meetings or just a quiet afternoon.
