We’re a small 501(c)3 volunteer based nonprofit whose mission is to fill in the gaps that may be barriers to self-sufficiency. Crisis are not one size fit all. Sometimes people are stuck “in between” where one small resource help can make all the difference that would otherwise cause a domino effect to what would otherwise be a loss of housing, job…etc. Our team works to find resources tailored to a solution for the specific individual.
I founded Choose Compassion because I found myself on many sides of the fence, from working to homelessness…from volunteering to needing services…from learning to advocate for myself to being an advocate and resource to the community.
