This Community Group, led by Skills After Service coaches, is for veterans, first responders and any of their family members who are running a business. We welcome business owners and their staff, freelancers, contractors, creatives and nonprofits. Military spouses, adult children, firefighters, EMT, law enforcement, and active-duty military preparing for transition are all welcome.

We will provide ongoing advice and support, including a variety of free classes and helpful resources, all designed to help you start, grow and sustain your business or organization. We all understand that it’s not just about what you know but also, who you know – so in this group, we’ll try to help you make important connections, learn critical skills and gain access to free tools and information designed to support your own growth strategy.

We’re glad to have you in the group and encourage you to connect with others.

This group was created to facilitate networking and co-marketing opportunities. We want our members to work together, co-market with each other and build professional connections together. We will provide regular access to information and resources specifically designed to help military families and first responders build and grow a business.

1. You are encouraged to participate in helpful, respectful conversations and hateful or derogatory comments will be deleted.

2. Please engage with other members and feel free to offer peer-to-peer advice or referrals based on your own experience.

3. You can ask and answer each other's questions but please do not post salesy, overly pushing or spammy messages trying to sell products and services to other members. Nobody likes that and this is a "no BS" zone. We want to keep things productive, efficient and respectful so please do not flood the community page with off-topic content that is not useful to others in the group.
