World Whisk(e)y day is Friday, May 20th and I can't think of a better way to celebrate this year than with a Whisk(e)y tasting. Ihave partnered with 4 Degrees Brewing Company and Top Shelf Distillers to bring this event to Smiths Falls.

If you own an APC branded SmartUPS product you should be checking as soon as possible to see if there are any product firmware updates available. A vulnerability, dubbed TLStorm, was found in Schneider Electric's APC Smart-UPS products by security firm Armis. This was reported within the past few days.
What makes this so critical is how widely used the affected lines of SmartUPS products are. These products are very commonly found within small to medium-sized businesses protecting equipment that is critical to business continuity. The TLStorm vulnerability should not be ignored for the potential cybersecurity threat this can pose to any company that is using these products.
The article at The Register is good and presents some helpful links that would be helpful in sorting your way on an appropriate response to this possible threat to your IT infrastructure.
