Did you know every tire sold in the US has a date code on them? You can find the DOT code near the rim of the tire The letters DOT on the tire are followed by a (TIN) that is eight to thirteen letters and or numbers that identify where the tire was manufactured, tire size and the manufacturer’s code, along with the week and year the tire was manufactured. Generally speaking tires are good six years from the date they were manufactured.
