About Us
My professional art experience spans 35 years. I have been painting in encaustic medium for years. My work includes realism and abstract, and my intention is to bring spirit to my art and make the invisible, more visible. Encaustic medium is sensual and brings such translucency to a painting. My influeces come from the beauty of nature, the figure
and architecture. I had taught workshops at my ocean studio for a few years, and am an active artist in my community, as well as in Santa Fe, N.M. My paintings are in many collections throughout the U.S.
I have an M.F.A. from U.C.L.A in Drawing and Painting.I feel grateful to have studied with Richard Diebenkorn in the 1970's as a graduate student.
My studio is open by appt.
