How We Got Started
After working as a partner in a small engineering consultant company north of Orangeville, I returned to Guelph where I attended university. I have practiced as a Certified home inspector and Certified mould assessor since 2008.
In 2020 just as Covid started I had to postpone my plans to transform Just 4 You Home Inspections into an Environmental Company. The company has two divisions
(1) The investigative, testing, and information
(2) The abatement/removal side for Asbestos, Lead and Mould
Complies with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
Our objective:
To eliminate all mould growth in indoor environments.

To help reduce global warming we have reduced driving by 36% over 2024. We have reduced paper products by 41% and we recycle paper where possible.
To better manage precipitation levels it is necessary to increase our exterior drainable space so we plan to build a modest size home with no foundation or slab on grade to achieve more drainable space. The products we use at work are green in the sense they become inert within 72 hours in conjunction with plant-based and oxygen-based mould bacteria-killing solutions.
We are investigating the use of electrical vehicles to reduce our carbon footprint but we need to determine if solar and wind features can be added to the vehicle to help reduce the growing strain upon the power grid system.
We are concerned about global warming and we are forth coming in let our elected officials know our concerns.

However, this is a double edge sword because the vendor must also do their due diligence in disclosing the problems of the property. Under extensive investigation the evidence of a properties history can and will be found illuminating who failed to due their due diligence the buyer or the vendor.

I am hesitant about opening. Since everyone has not been tested it seems we have no idea who is infected or not especially fro A symptomatic individuals. We all need to be tested before we open why it is called a pandemic for a reason.

Ask yourself, how do you wish to be remembered, the inspector who exposing others to a deadly disease for his own personal gain or someone who understood the dangers surrounding this deadly pandemic and stopped practicing for the greater good.
I honestly believe you need to reflect on what image you wish to project not just today but for the future.
Personally, I stopped working: March 10th 2020.
How long will I be closed” 12 to 18 months

None of them appear to work, I have spent thousands from marketing and website builders with zero success. I have been told by marketers they have posted to social media but I have never seen anything online which I can find.
Instead, I have gone back to relying on word of mouth from clients...

Learning value through persistence.
To remain persistent, this is not a new learning experience, but as the economy changes we must learn to adapt to move forward. It is essential to stop, reflect and confirm changes fit with you as a professional and as a person.
When changes are simply unacceptable or conflict with your value and belief system; it is necessary to remain dedicated to your values and beliefs to ground you. Persevere, stay away from toxic people, especially those who do not realize they are toxic.
For myself, I remain persistent to a balanced benefit for my personal and professional development and growth. Any one-sided relationships are in their nature suspect and generally non-beneficial. So be persistent in finding the right people to work with, you are worth it.

I take implement a combination of approaches. (1) Email, (2) go a visit them in person so they can put a face to future emails.

Digital marketing is expensive and not very effective. The clients I have received from digital marketing some I just can not work with because of their attitude and unreasonable expectations. The come across as problems just waiting to find a sucker.
