A proud Canadian retail bakery, Trish’s Bakery Cafe began in 2009 when Patricia Reeves-Butler broke away from the corporate baking industry. Using her over 30 years of experience, Trish opened her own bakery in Port Dover, Ontario. Today, Trish’s bakery has grown from those early roots and have planted themselves as a 100% gluten free bakery.

Together with our current employee’s, Trish’s bakery Inc. has a collective passion for offering exceptional food products while hosting a positive friendly shopping experience. Trish’s bakery Hamilton is committed to helping Ontarians eat healthier and have food options available to them, to feel better, eat better, and enjoy great tasting food regardless of dietary restriction.

Hello everyone, my name is Keith Herechuk and I am the very proud owner of Trish's Bakery here in my home town of Hamilton. I joined the military in 2004 a year after finishing high school. After four years in the military I then swapped uniforms and spend the next eight years in the RCMP. I then was moved back to Ontario after travelling the country. Once back home, I landed my dream job as a firefighter for the city of Toronto. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and Major Depression Disorder, I was then taken off the trucks and due to the severity of the diagnoses I was told that I would never be let back on.

Struggling with depression and various PTSD symptoms I was going down a dark path while being stuck at home. I have a very close relationship with my Aunt Trish who convinced me to come out to her bakery just to get out of the house, it started as just make some cookies and evolved into a serious passion and a brand new bakery in Hamilton!
