About Us
I provide both American Heart Association (AHA) and American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) courses. I am an ASHI approved training center. Course provided include CPR AED, BLS for Healthcare Providers, First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, Child & Babysitting Safety and CPR for New & Expecting Parents. A regular schedule of courses is posted on my website at http://coastalcpr.com. On-site courses can also be scheduled for businesses, non-profits, mothers groups, volunteer organizations and any group of friends who would like to learn life-saving skills.
How We Got Started
I'm a former part-time Firefighter/EMT. I began teaching when I left my full-time job and grew into a steady small business. I offer personalized low-stress courses emphasizing learning the skills in a comfortable setting.

Being busy is not good if you're spinning your wheels working hard but not moving forward, making the sales, or earning the income you're expecting from your business. This is a potential client who needs someone to help them look at their systems or routines to help them streamline or switch directions to work more effectively or efficiently.
You probably cannot sway someone who is looking only at final cost and not the value of what you are offering. When someone questions my course charges or tells me they can get a class cheaper elsewhere I usually briefly explain my course charges include all they supplies and books they need...

You probably cannot sway someone who is looking only at final cost and not the value of what you are offering. When someone questions my course charges or tells me they can get a class cheaper elsewhere I usually briefly explain my course charges include all they supplies and books they need and that my course meets all the organizations guidelines. I follow up that they can certainly take a class with whomever they want, but to check that the lower cost includes their required book. Most end up registering for my class. Some don't and go elsewhere. If you discount to please everyone who asks you to do what you do for less you are devaluing what you do or provide.
