I'm Interior Designer Susan Rains, and I take home design off your plate so you can spend more time with your family and doing what you love.

I know that pulling your home together can feel like a second job, you don’t have the time. Even if you like to DIY, shopping for the right things can be overwhelming and time-consuming. There are so many details to consider, and making the wrong choices can be costly.

What you already own often becomes my design muse. I'm creative but not commanding, I won’t sweep into your home, imposing a single vision. I’m about helping you uncover your style and guiding you through the process of home design to completion. Nothing makes me happier than when I've ensured my client gets to live in a home that is perfectly tailored to their personal style, needs, wants and supportive of their healthy lifestyle.

My love of design started in my childhood. My mother collected antiques and took me to flea markets, yard sales, and auctions, honing my eye for exceptional craftsmanship. She also loved to draw and paint. (in watercolor). I followed in her footsteps, leading to my first degree in Studio Art and a minor in Art History.

Before becoming an Interior Designer, I worked in creative fields that honed the customer service and project management skills I still use today.
