Mamma Mish has been creating fun, healthy, homemade dishes for many many years and owned a catering company, country store, venue and cafe. This is the beginning of a unique company to help busy folks eat a home cooked meal made with lots of love and blessings!!
Now we share our knowledge and encourage folks. A few books have been written to give hope during these challenging times. We go out help small business and folks individually with motivation talks, food, faith and fellowship! Get in touch with us for more information.
How We Got Started
Mamma loves to cook and have fun! Hosting, coordinating and having events. That’s how this got started many years ago! Now we share the process with folks, motivate small business owners and bring people together to gather for a purpose! To keep us going strong and with a purpose!! Happy New Year!!! Yes sure 2020 was quite bizarre, challenging and certainly unpredictable!!! How did we get through and stay alive with our little business in Hydes Maryland......Faith! Lots of prayer and believing God for the best is yet to come!!!! Still doing this! Not giving up, being creative, helping other small businesses, sharing each other on social media, helping the communities around us, Hearing the needs and helping, giving, staying positive and never blaming anyone or anything for it all! We stayed alive with faith! All of what happened in 2020 made us stronger and able to encourage as many as we could and we will continue in 2021!!! We are marketing it everywhere! It will be a day of asking questions, eating great foods, meeting not only the owner but the entire Mamma’s team! Offering special discounts! Hearing the needs of the community and asking their ideas for our place!! The community has always been a huge part of our growth! We ask their suggestions and opinions on social media always!! Good day!! My name is Michele Love and I am the owner of Mamma Mish’s Homemade Dishes cafe and catering and Mamma’s General Store! We have Homemade goodness in both places! We wanted to create a homey, cozy atmosphere for cafe customers, catering clients and shoppers!!! Our menu changes weekly in the cafe and all yummies are homemade and baked fresh!! We have hot meals, soups, cool sandwich ideas on homemade breads and of course bakery items!! We cater weddings, parties and more! We have events in the cafe and alot of fellowship, faith and fun!! Our new General Store is amazing with some very talented vendors! Store has dry goods, milk, butter, farm eggs from Willow Valley and many gift ideas and crafts!!! We wanted to create a destination for folks to come eat a meal and do some shopping!! This dream and adventure is all a prayer and a vision coming to life!!!! My resolution is to make sure people who come into my life whether it be a friend or family, a customer in our cafe, a catering client, a vendor in our new General Store or a stranger I meet anywhere to be attentive, kind, patient, willing to help and go the extra mile no matter the need or situation!! To not be too consumed with busyness to miss someone who needs encouragemnt, a smile, a hug, direction or hope!! We don’t know what folks are going through and for our little business and our presence to lift up others is my resolution not only for 2019 but beyond!!!
