I have been in the technology space since 2007 and through my career I have seen how technology has transformed people and businesses. My time at Microsoft taught me how to mange large enterprise software solutions on-prem and cloud based to support customers around the world.
The second part of my career I switched over to being the customer of these solutions. Working with the business, both on the corporate side and the field side, to identify opportunities where technology could help us with efficiencies. Some examples are: transitioning data capture from paper to electronic through mobile devices; centralizing SOP's on a platform so everyone is doing the work the same; connecting systems so data only needs to be entered once to reduce human error and give back time back to users; last but not least, pulling data into a single location, (OneView), so both corporate and field users can make fast and accurate decisions.
I saw a theme across multiple companies that they knew they needed to make the transformation from how they have been doing things, but don't have time or just didn't know how to make the transition. A lot of the companies do not have a Project Management team focused on technology, so this fell on individuals with other responsibilities as a side project, and a lot of the time projects took years to get fully rolled out or never rolled out at all.
That is where I saw an opportunity to partner with companies facing these challenges. Bringing in Project Management structure, past experience, and the ability to listen to impacted users to help identify what and where technology can help. Understand the challenges and opportunities, and identifying a solution that fits the company's needs. Always being mindful to keep things as simple as you can make them to help drive user adoption.
