Nope. The stimulus has between very little, to nothing to do with finding a workforce - and the mounds of data proves this. I could sit here all day long and and cite links. Better yet, use your own common sense. Option 1) An individual could stay home and get $300.00 for only the next several weeks or, 2) work making $400.00 p/w ($10 p/h) or more, permanently. Now, what's your argument again? You can't find a good hire? Look in the mirror for your reason.

So is your point that they should stay home and collect unemployment till their benefits run out. Then expect business to then hire them at their requested wage?

Another uninformed post. It’s $300 PLUS regular benefits per week.

It's not $300 per month, it's $300 per week, which is $1300 per month in ADDITION to state benefits. So now do the math. I run a business that employs about 150 people and most of them make between $12-15/hr. We made a commitment to increase the wages to $15/hr but this takes time and additional $700k annually. You can guess where this money will have to come from - raising prices by almost 25% can't happen overnight!
