About Us

Hi, I’m Bonnie Grant, an Alignable Ambassador since April 2026. I love helping business owners connect, grow, and build strong relationships.

I specialize in business insurance because I’m a business owner myself—and I know how important it is to protect what you’ve built. My journey started in 2008 when I left a job I didn’t love and chose to help others get the right coverage, inspired by how my mom’s insurance once made a life-changing difference for me.

After 11+ years with Farmers Insurance, we launched Get Help With Insurance, Inc. during COVID to offer clients more choices. Today, we work with 100+ companies to find the best coverage at no cost to you.

My husband Jim brings 14 years of claims leadership experience, giving our clients an edge when it matters most.

Jim is from Philadelphia, PA and Bonnie is from Greensburg, PA. We got married in 1999 and have lived in NV since 2006. We love to go ATV riding in the hills behind our house and Blues concerts. We would like to start taking trips to visit other mountains soon. Our kid is a Cattledog named Mollie.

How We Got Started

I began my career with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Arizona as a mortgage banker. When the mortgage industry declined in 2008, I explored new opportunities and was drawn to the insurance field.

My decision was deeply personal. At age 20, I was involved in a serious accident when a dump truck ran a red light and struck my first car. Because my mother had the right insurance coverage, I was able to receive the care I needed to recover. That experience inspired me to help others protect themselves and their futures.

I went on to open an agency with Farmers Insurance, where I spent over a decade serving clients. In 2020, we transitioned to an independent agency—Get Help With Insurance, Inc.—giving us access to more than 100 insurance carriers.

I see what you’re saying and I agree. Sales do not follow in your lap. You have got to reach out to your potential customers and visit with them. You have got to post on your page that you do XYZ. When somebody sees that you do XYZ then they should consider connecting with you. But when it comes... (more) I see what you’re saying and I agree. You can’t just say that you’re out there, but you gotta be out there and communicate with your potential customers and ask them to visit with you.

I’m looking for bookkeepers and accountants and CPAs and business brokers and business mortgage bankers. Insurance agents help keep insurance cost low so the ROI grows. There is an old way of thinking. When someone in this industry needs to refer an insurance agent so that they can get some quotes, most people refer to three different agents so they can get three different quotes.. If you refer to an agent like me who has a lot of insurance companies, we do more than three quotes for that customer. Independent agents actually have access to a lot more resources that can make anyone in this group look good to their customers. Because we take the load off their back. We keep track of everything because we are a one-stop shop with a lot of resources —not just one company. if you’re in Nevada, let’s connect.

Facebook never gave me the opportunity to connect with people who I might not know, but might have a connection to me through a friend. I think that’s genuine. Facebook stops you from connecting to other people because they don’t want you to connect to too many people because you may get popular. I’ve been censored on Facebook and I know it. Anytime a social media page sensors you, it’s not social anymore. It’s regulated and that’s sad.

Most agents only give you one insurance quote from their one insurance company that they work for. Our agency works for you. We take your information and then we go shopping at a bunch of companies for you. Will that save you some time with your insurance shopping?
