I got started in insurance when I looked at my life at a job I couldnt stand in 2008. I was hit by a dump truck in my first owned car 2/21/1983. While I was in this moment of decision, I thought about helping other people get the right insurance policy just like my Mom did. I am alive because my Mom was properly insured to help me get the care I needed.

I decided to start my own insurance agency so that I can help others. We started off as a Farmers Insurance agency for 11+ years. We stopped drinking the One-company KoolAid and we started Get Help With Insurance, Inc. right when the COVID pandemic started. What a better time!

Jim Grant grew up on the east side of Pennsylvania and Bonnie is from the west side of Pennsylvania. We met in Texas and got married in 1999. Jim was a Claims Adjuster, then a Claims Department Supervisor, and then he got promoted to be the State of AZ State Claims Manager for Farmers Insurance. Farmers then headhunted him to run the State of Nevada Homeowners Claims Department in NV! He made sure those claims departments ran efficiently. Not many insurance agents have 14 years claims department management experience. He can help you through your claims challenges.

I worked for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in AZ as a mortgage banker. In 2008, the mortgage industry took a dive. I saw a commercial about an insurance job. I said that would be really good for me! When I was 20 years old, a dump truck ran a red light into my very first car. My Mother had good insurance. I was able to get the care I needed to survive. I decided to start an insurance agency with Farmers Insurance to help others succeed & survive if they were in an accident.
