Well, You have to crowd fund - money comes from fans and friends. Since most investment today is for tech companies, no entertainment is of interest. It is just not on the table 99 percent of the time. Occasionally an investor likes the project proposal and will invest - most likely expecting to...

Well, You have to crowd fund - money comes from fans and friends. Since most investment today is for tech companies, no entertainment is of interest. It is just not on the table 99 percent of the time. Occasionally an investor likes the project proposal and will invest - most likely expecting to have prestige by doing so. When they have material success - fancy cars and big homes, and money, they then may want a little prestige by rubbing shoulders and giving back to community. There is no one way to do this. Do your research. Stay informed.

SAG/AFTRA should be able to give you some help with this by providing SAG Signatory Agents and Managers list. I also recommend befriending Promoters on social media who also double as agents and managers.

That's as varied as life itself. You need an Agent, Backer, Producer - a good Team. If the Exec Producer, and Producer, is already in place they should be able to recommend a booking agent.

Your question is a good one. If you are a writer and you have high quality demos (radio ready) it is advantageous to work with a music publisher either in L.A. or Nashville. Also exposure on Youtube is helpful so people can find you; and joining ASCAP is a good idea.
