When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, our lives changed overnight. Between appointments, treatments, waiting rooms, exhaustion, and the emotional weight that families carry quietly, I began to realize how difficult even simple things—like transportation—can become during a medical journey.
What stood out to me most was that patients need more than a ride. They need calmness, patience, flexibility, dignity, and someone who understands that treatment days are often physically and emotionally overwhelming. I saw firsthand how stressful rushed transportation, uncertainty, and lack of support could feel for both patients and caregivers.
That experience stayed with me deeply. It became the reason my husband, Ihor, and I created Anuvia Support Services: a private, pre-scheduled, non-emergency medical transportation company designed to support individuals and families navigating ongoing medical care.
