Given the resurgence of the virus and threat of more closures, how should I be thinking about bringing employees back on payroll?

We have been on the front lines the whole time, and continue to be.              I help companies navigate this employee, dilemma.  For some, it is simply common sense and decency.  You must take care of your people.  If you can use them to help your Business, and they can and want to work from home, let them.  If you have developed a safe social distanced work sight, and have the process, and procedures in place to have them come in, and they feel safe, great!

The key is to keep in touch with them, make them feel valued, and not on an island, and not smothered or micromanaged.  It is so much easier to keep the ones you have and make them happy and build your Company Culture than it is to find new employees.

Peter, thank you for sharing your words of wisdom in this forum! I think the same way. Our staff is also a type of client that will continue to communicate our brand and professionalism for years after they no longer work for us. I hope everyone does their best to espouse your values and words as we both do. Continued success to you!
