For Florida residents, stay safe and prepare the best you can.  In the immediate path of Milton, please evacuate.  Store important papers like your flood & homeowner's insurance plans & contact info for your insurance agent, Birth certificates, passports, special photos, etc. in 1 & 2 Gallon Zip Loc Bags.  Put your refrigerator & freezer on highest setting now.  Fill your bathtub with water to use in your tank to flush your toilet and put a brick or two in the tank to displace the water so you will use less.  If you can fill up some sand bags, block your front, sliding and garage doors to minimize flood water damage.  If you have a pool and not a lot of storage room for patio furniture, put them in the pool.  If cell phone goes out, you may still be able to text, and charge it up now and in your car if necessary.  Let loved ones, neighbors, social media, etc. know that you are safe or if you have any specific needs.  Hunker down the best you can.
