My bookkeeping journey began in Portugal, where I worked from 2009 to 2015 in the accounting department of a retail business. I was responsible for transaction reconciliation, identifying and correcting discrepancies, and managing inventory, which gave me a strong foundation in accuracy and financial organization.
After moving to the United States in 2015, I became the owner of a cleaning company. Running my own business gave me firsthand experience with the challenges entrepreneurs face, including managing my own bookkeeping and understanding the importance of accurate financial records.
In 2026, I founded Imperial Bookkeeping LLC to combine my bookkeeping experience with my background in business ownership. Today, I provide 100% remote bookkeeping services to small businesses, helping them maintain organized, accurate books so they can make confident financial decisions.
