I have just treated a young soccer player who injured his sartorius muscle when forcefully kicking a soccer ball.  The pain was immediately sharp at the origin of the muscle at the right ASIS.  Always a good idea to rule out an avulsion fracture at the ASIS even if it happens only rarely.  In... (more) I have just treated a young soccer player who injured his sartorius muscle when forcefully kicking a soccer ball.  The pain was immediately sharp at the origin of the muscle at the right ASIS.  Always a good idea to rule out an avulsion fracture at the ASIS even if it happens only rarely.  In that case, physiotherapies,  rest, ice and Aleve did the trick.  Not only it is the longest muscle in the human body but I believe that it is the only one that crosses two joints!
