I am a mixed media artist. I create exciting artwork about food, nature and people.
My paintings often include a 3 dimensional aspect, combining paint with interesting collage elements, including fabric, string, cardboard, paper, metal leaf, and found objects. I often apply hand carved and layered painted foam core board to my work. This adds a sculptural element, more dimension, and excitement to my uniquer artwork.

I was originally trained in Food and Nutrition and then diverged into creating artwork about Food. I had a big show at an area restaurant, sold a lot of work and that led to having my own studio. I shared a studio with a roommate at first. then went solo, and then moved into an even better, bigger location. I now create commissions for private clients and unique one of a kind pieces which I sell in my studio.
