At GoldWiser we specialize in the purchase and sale of all four precious metals, silver, gold, platinum, and palladium. When you are ready to sell we can guarantee the best price due to our direct relationship with the refiner. If you are interested in the purchase of precious metals as an investment, we can guide you through the process. The items we purchase are rings, ring settings, earrings, brooches, bracelets, necklaces, chains, any item in silver, platinum, palladium or gold. Dental gold is another item we purchase, sterling silver flatware, trays, coffee pots, teapots any sterling serving items, gold, silver, and platinum bullion, and gold and silver coins. If an item is made of precious metals then these are the items we are interested in. We determine the purity of the item, weigh the items and give the customer a price, and they are paid the same day. We are not a pawn shop and our goal is to recycle precious metals, so jewelry designers will use recycled metals. Mining for precious metals, palladium, platinum, rhodium, gold, and silver is not at all good for the environment, so recycling these metals will reduce releasing toxins in the atmosphere and water supplies.
How We Got Started
There really wasn't a specialty store that exclusively purchased precious metals around 2009 when the gold market exploded and there was a high percentage of individuals who had purchased gold when it was reasonable price around $300 an ounce. So when gold skyrocketed there were a lot of customers who wanted to sell, and they basically quadrupled and then some on the original investment. Then the idea of selling for investment purposes to individuals was born and it also gave people a place to sell broken and unwanted pieces of jewelry instead of it wasting away in a lock box or jewelry box. It simply gave customers more cash to do whatever they wanted to do with it.

I was encouraged to close an account with them due to withdrawals I had not initiated. The fraud dept, the chief financial officer at this particular location, and her assistant agreed so I did. They said they would no longer reimburse me for fraudulent withdrawals, ok fine, account closed. About 6 months later I get a letter from a collection agency showing a balance due of over $400 due to overdraft charges on my account. I was livid, went to the branch to see the same officers of the bank who closed my account and after researching it, they came to the conclusion that "someone" reopened this same account and put overdraft charges on it. Could not tell me who reopened the account, and I said you are going to fix this. About 6 months later I get a check from BofA for over $600 stating due to a computer glitch I had been inadvertently charged for overdraft charges that I did not create. Never dealt with them again and never would. They love overdraft charges and created business accounts in customers' names and charged them with late interest payments they did not even have because they did not open any business account. I forget how many millions they had to fork over for that. they never learn.

Lower the cost of healthcare and prescription medications by reporting anti-competitive behavior. 87 percent of small businesses said they needed costs lowered in healthcare and 55 percent for prescriptions since we have many small businesses providing healthcare benefits to their employees. The high cost of healthcare has slowed down growth opportunities. President Biden’s Executive Order encourages the FTC to ban or limit non-compete agreements. The order directs the FTC to issue rules making it easier and cheaper to repair items by limiting manufacturers from barring self-repairs or third-party repairs of their products. President Biden’s Executive Order encourages the Federal Maritime Commission to vigorously prohibit shippers from charging American exporters exorbitant fees. The larger online companies study the small businesses' products and how they sell and then undercut the small businesses. They create their own copycat products and display them more prominently. it's a combo of google reviews, excellent customer service with a sense of humor, honesty, and teach them the process of determining the purity of metals they bring in right in front of them as almost all places tend to take it to a "back room."

If someone needed money and banks were closed for whatever reason, and individuals needed a bit of cash they could come here, sell a piece of gold or silver and at least get gas money. We are not a pawn shop. I believe how we were affected is the general population is questioning the economic situation in the country, and some have gone so far as to express, paper money will soon be worthless, so we need to hold onto our precious metals. There are those who have parted with large sums of metal because they needed the money now. So there is a division of thought about precious metals, need money now, or maybe I need to hold onto it or buy some more. We did sell quite a bit of silver and gold bullion because another group felt well let's add to our existing reserve. It's all in the mindset of an individual and how they see things and they are firm about where they see things going and say so. The strangest thing is gold is higher now than it has been in over 6 years but some are holding on tightly to their gold.

There are bound to be places like that where you are and add shoe shine to the rest of the treatments offered. There are dozens of places like that in Houston and all are still going, wearing masks and sanitizing of course, chairs, counters, etc. If someone mentioned this I am sorry, I just rushed through the other responses. Seems every time I think of a place for you to do business and think of all the places I see shoe shining offered, it is around a business that is already in trouble, and again not a lot of traffic.
