(more) There is a book called "Traction: How Any Startup Can Achieve Explosive Customer Growth" that you might want to look into. It's been out for about 5 years, which can seem like an eternity in today's marketing climate, but it outlines a pretty common sense approach to determining what marketing channels are right for your specific product/service. As someone pointed out, you are assuming social channels are the way to go. And even if you are right, which one? Success on one platform does not equate to success on another. The book outlines its "bullseye framework" which lays out a process for identifying the channels that will most likely work best for your specific case, and then outlines the method for testing and refining until you find your sweet spot.
