About Us

We are your new accounting team. We take over your bookkeeping so you can concentrate on growing your business. I use technology to simplify, integrate, automate and protect accounting and payroll transactions including receipts and document storage. Some owners think their business is doing okay if there is money in the bank, others think it is all just numbers in and numbers out. All business owners benefit from highly detailed bookkeeping to gain insight into what generates profit and how all the costs fit together to make a lean and mean profit machine or a struggle to make cover costs to provide products and services to clients while making a profit. We offer all services except the yearly tax return. We work with our tax professional or refer out to one. We keep track of your receipts, pay your bills, run your payroll, file/pay your sales tax, invoice your clients/process payments - start with basic bookkeeping and then select additional services. Our fees are flat-rate, billed monthly and with only a 30 day cancellation notice. Reach out today for a free, no obligation consultation.

How We Got Started

After 20+ years of small business and corporate accounting, I decided to start my own firm and concentrate on what I felt was important - a customized chart of accounts to help small business owners learn the value hidden in their monthly financial reports as a way to increase revenues and reduce cost, while meeting the needs of tax professionals to complete returns easily each year. It has grown into so much more than that. Now we handle back office services to free up even more time for our clients.

(more) This is important, however if your business is relationship-based (professional services and unique products) rather than transactional (selling products/services that are mass marketed, such as gas, ice, etc.) then a sufficient amount of time has to be invested to see the potential or experience the return.  My experience has been that posting, liking and sharing on Facebook has done a great job of getting me name recognition, which is valuable as I visit new network groups. This is time invested with no prospects actively seeking me out, but when someone hears my name, they have heard of me and may have some idea of similar likes/dislikes.  Network groups on the other hand take three to four months or longer depending on how often the group meets. This is where I find prospects or referrals for prospects. It takes time to build the relationship of trust is what I have found. So I concentrate more on finding groups that contain persons who would most likely refer prospects to me - in my case B2B groups.

I like to inject humor, sympathy, excitement and seriousness into face-to-face, phone call, and text communications with clients.  I usually keep emails pretty informational and keep this more professional and formal.
