Ms. Productive Tax Firm (MP Tax Firm) has four years of experience in Individual and Business Tax Preparation and two years of Basic Bookkeeping. My name is Ms. Lugo and I am the CEO and Tax Professional of MP Tax Firm. During these four years I sought to be not only a tax preparer but also a tax planner. I became a Tax Planner because I grew tired of seeing many clients fall victim to their tax obligations simply from lack of proper guidance and knowledge. The Tax code if used correctly is a tool used to benefit taxpayers especially for business owners. Business owners are throwing away money every year because they are not aware of the strategies available and lack good record keeping proving eligibility for tax strategies used. I seek to educate while continuing to accumulate the knowledge necessary to assist each client efficiently.

Before I opened my tax firm, I started my cosmetics business making soaps, hair oils and body butter called Royal Holistics during the Pandemic in 2020 when many other businesses were born. I was also the first time I had to prepare my taxes and report my business revenue and expenses. At the time, I have always prepared my taxes using TurboTax and decided to go that route again. While preparing my taxes I was amazed that business owners were able to write off expenses and depreciate equipment and qualify for certain credits. Although my business did not even scratch the surface of all possible ways to benefit from the tax code, I was absolutely amazed at the possibilities of having a business as opposed to just imputing my W2 information and hoping enough taxes were taken out throughout the year.
