About Us

Shoup Woodworks is a Houston Texas shop featuring custom made items of various species of hardwoods. Items include cutting boards, both long and end grain, wooden games such as Wahoo and Mancala, charcuterie boards, serving trays, dining tables, media centers, and those unique one of a kind special pieces you want for yourself or as a gift. I also repair wooden furniture so if you have a piece that has been broken send me an email or text. Check me out and let me help you design your special item. We will then bring that design to a finished product.

How We Got Started

I built my first woodworking project when I was 11 years old and I've been hooked ever since. I had a long safety career but I was always woodworking whenever I had a chance. I retired from my safety job in 2007 and opened my shop in Kerrville, Texas. I'm now located in Houston Texas and happy to work with you on your special project.

I make and sell a board game called Wahoo or Aggravation. I've had more orders this year than I've ever had and I assume that's because people have been staying home. Having said this I'm ready to return to some form of normalcy.  (more) I make and sell a board game called Wahoo or Aggravation. I operate a one man woodworking shop. I didn't apply because I don't have employees. From everything I read I'm not eligible.  (more) I operate a one man woodworking shop. I didn't apply because I don't have employees. From everything I read I'm not eligible.
