Eric — I want to flag something directly because I think it matters for the platform. Since Smart Connect went AI-enabled, the match quality has gotten noticeably worse for me — it’s routinely surfacing referral connections that don’t fit the request at all, sometimes the wrong industry entirely. I’ve seen other members say it’s working great for them, so it’s clearly inconsistent, not universally broken.

I’d genuinely like to help make it better rather than just complain: would you or the product team be open to a specific example or two of bad matches so you can see what’s going wrong? I’ve been a strong advocate for Alignable, and I’d rather be part of fixing this than watching people quietly stop trusting Smart Connect

I have found the opposite to be true.  Is there a chance there is no one on the SmartConnect who fits your ideal customer or is in your geographic location?

I do not attend SmartConnects to sell, I attend to attract and learn more about others.  You never know who someone knows who could be a good connection for you.

…Just a  suggestion.

John...it's your profile tags. That's how the matching happens.
