Steven graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 1989 with BA in Theatre Arts. He also earned an AA degree from The Institute of Golf Management at College of the Desert, Palm Desert, California.

Steven started his golf professional career in 1992 at Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, California, where he was first assistant golf professional in charge of golf operations.

In 1994 Steven was invited to join the Hank Haney Golf Instruction Staff of Southern California were he was able to work and learn from the 1993 PGA Teacher of the Year, a Top 100 Instructor and current instructor to number one world ranked player Tiger Woods.

The next stop was Carmel Valley Ranch, on the famed Monterey Peninsula. In 1996 Steven became the Head Golf Professional as well as teaching along side Shawn Humphries, Director of Instruction and Top 100 Instructor. In 1997 he became a member of the PGA.

In 1999 Steven moved to the Pebble Beach Golf Academy were he trained with and taught along side Llaird Small.

In 2002 Steven took the director of instruction position at Black Gold Golf Club where he created the Steven Soule golf Academy. In 2005 he became the west coast lead instructor for ESPN golf schools, In 2006 Steven coached Australian amateur and professional standout Steven Bowditch. 2014 Steven opened his highly acclaimed Soule golf studio in downtown Huntington Beach.

This state of the art studio 1200 ft.² includes FlightScope launch monitors, video equipment and 1000 square-foot putting green complete with three big screen televisions to view all changes.

Lol, don't get me started! Technology has changed you can get five times more done inside working on ball flight, swing plane, Path and club face.

After several years of working with green grass facilities, it was time to venture out on my own.
