Established in 2012, Canadiana Earthworks & Landscaping is a Canadian-owned excavation and site development company based in Huntsville, Ontario, serving Muskoka and surrounding regions.
Founded by Kris Boothby, a construction professional with more than 30 years of hands-on industry experience, Canadiana brings together extensive heavy equipment expertise, construction management capabilities, and specialized knowledge in residential, commercial, and infrastructure development.

Our Story — Built on Experience, Driven by Independence
Canadiana Earthworks & Landscaping was established in 2012 by Kris Boothby, combining years of experience in excavation, heavy equipment operation, and construction with a desire to build a business around family, independence, and quality workmanship.
Following the birth of his daughter, Kris made the decision to establish his own company, allowing him greater flexibility to spend time with his family while continuing to pursue his passion for construction and equipment operation.
The business began with the purchase of a Wacker Neuson 28Z3 mini excavator, a machine that remains part of Canadiana's equipment fleet to this day.
From the beginning, Canadiana focused on landscape construction and site servicing projects, applying the same level of planning, organization, and attention to detail regardless of project size.
