Hello, I'm Mary Resenbeck. I am a highly motivated and dedicated homeschool educational consultant/manager, student mentor, and parent liaison. I wrote a book called "Take Charge of Your Child's Education!" My expertise is working closely with families and their children by giving them the tools to create an individualized education plan (IEP). Over my two-decade career, I have closely worked with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them overcome academic struggles and personal obstacles. I provide academic support and guidance to help students set and achieve educational goals. I have also built strong relationships with students and parents, allowing me to understand their unique needs and provide personalized support.

My journey as a parent and educator for my twice-exceptional children led me to explore Montessori education and performing arts. In 2000, I ventured into these fields, allowing me to advocate for my children on campus and to explore innovative teaching methods. In 2013, when traditional schooling didn't meet my children's needs, I transitioned to homeschooling and established my business, Take Charge of Your Child's Education. Embracing unschooling created a more relaxed and interest-driven learning environment that significantly boosted my children's self-confidence and academic performance. Now, as an educational consultant, I assist other families in customizing individualized education for their children.
