How We Got Started

Founded by Dave Braun to do mobile app development in 2011 as Pro App Creators, since we were doing apps, and an app needed a website, we decided to branch out into website development. Dave has 6 patents!

(more) In my business, clients finally have the time to start getting me content to get their websites done! I began holding open office hours for clients, where they can get on and ask me anything! And working on offering newer services so that when this crazy time is over, I'm ready! Since I work from home, nothing much has changed other than my wife has joined me, and we now take walks in the middle of the day instead of at night, which is nice. We've allowed ourselves to watch Designated Survivor at night, say one episode each evening. Normally we watch zero TV during the week, but this time of year we would have been watching basketball or baseball.

Normally weekly at first but it depends upon how long they haven't given a response or if they've said to check back in. After a while, every other week then monthly. I continue to follow up until I hear from them regarding a definite NO. Regarding the CRM, I  loved using Pipedrive as it's customizable and fits my brain, but right now I'm just using a simple Trello board and allocating an hour once a week to go through all the folks on my list. (more) Before spending money on advertising, reach out to those people you know and that know you, and tell them you'd appreciate a recommendation and to connect with someone that may want your services. Then reach out to those you may be able to partner with that have a large audience and give them a percentage of the proceeds, creating affiliate relationships. After that, whatever ad money you spend, keep it small to start and ensure you're reaching those that want what you offer.
